Information We Collect

OptiSight collects three categories of information so the product can function:

  • Account information: name, email, username, role, and the dealership rooftop you’re associated with. Created when an admin invites you or you sign up.
  • Dealership business data: sales records, inventory, performance plans, customer-log entries, and related operational data your group uploads or generates inside the product.
  • Usage data: server logs, error events captured by Sentry, and aggregated analytics about how features are used. Used solely to keep the product reliable and improve it.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the OptiSight product and its features.
  • To authenticate users, enforce role-based access, and audit unusual activity.
  • To diagnose errors and improve product reliability via monitoring tools (see Sub-Processors below).
  • To send transactional email such as password resets, alerts, and announcements you’ve opted into.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use dealership business data to train AI models.

Data Sharing and Sub-Processors

OptiSight uses a small set of vetted third parties to deliver the service. These sub-processors process data only on our instructions and under signed Data Processing Agreements.

  • Google Cloud Platform: hosting, BigQuery analytics, Cloud Storage, Secret Manager.
  • SendGrid (Twilio): transactional email.
  • Sentry: error monitoring. PII masking is enabled in session replays.
  • Cloudflare: DNS resolution and edge network.
  • GitHub: source-code hosting and CI/CD.

A complete list with regions and purposes is on the Security page.

Cookies and Tracking

OptiSight uses three categories of cookies:

  • Essential: required for authentication, session management, and core functionality. Always on; you cannot disable these without breaking the product.
  • Analytics: anonymized usage measurement that helps us understand which features are valuable. Optional; you control this through the cookie banner.
  • Marketing: disabled by default. We do not currently run third-party advertising, but the toggle is in place so you can opt out preemptively.

You can update your cookie preferences anytime via the link in the footer.

Data Retention

  • Active accounts: we retain account and business data for as long as the account is active.
  • Account closure: on written request to cancel, we delete your data within 30 days of confirmed termination, except for backups which expire on standard rolling windows.
  • Audit logs: security-relevant logs are retained for up to 1 year.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal hold.
  • Withdraw analytics or marketing cookie consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Email privacy@optisight.io with the request and proof of identity. We respond within 30 days.

OptiSight is a B2B product and is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
